Refund Policy

AudioMasterizer is a digital product delivered electronically. This policy explains when refunds are available. Last updated 9 June 2026.

1. Overview

AudioMasterizer is sold as a downloadable digital license for a macOS application. Because it is a digital product, the conditions below apply. This policy is intended to be fair and reasonable while protecting against abuse. It does not limit any mandatory consumer rights you may have under applicable law.

2. How payments and refunds are processed

Payments are processed by Paddle, which acts as reseller / merchant of record and/or payment provider. Approved refunds are issued through Paddle back to the original payment method. Processing times depend on Paddle and on your bank or card issuer.

3. How to request a refund

Send your request to contact@artofdev.space and include:

  • the email address used for the purchase;
  • the purchase date (and order/receipt reference if available);
  • the reason for your request.

We recommend submitting your request within 14 days of purchase.

4. When a refund may be granted

A refund may be granted, in particular, where:

  • the software has not been activated;
  • the software does not work on a supported, compatible configuration despite a reasonable attempt to resolve the issue with our support;
  • the purchase was accidental or a duplicate;
  • a refund is required by applicable law.

5. When a refund may be refused

A refund may be refused, in particular, where:

  • the license has been activated and used in a significant way;
  • there is manifest abuse (for example, repeated buy-and-refund behaviour);
  • the request results from a violation of our Terms of Service;
  • there is a fraudulent chargeback or payment fraud;
  • the request is made outside the recommended period, unless a contrary legal obligation applies.

6. Effect of a refund on your license

If a refund is issued, the associated license may be deactivated and you must stop using the software and delete it. Continuing to use a license after a refund is a breach of the Terms.

7. Processing times

Once a refund is approved, the time for the funds to appear depends on Paddle and your bank or card issuer, and is outside our direct control.

8. Mandatory consumer rights

Some jurisdictions grant consumers mandatory rights, including, in certain cases, a statutory right of withdrawal for digital purchases. Where such rights apply, they take precedence over this policy. Note that, where permitted, supplying digital content immediately (for example, providing the download/license) with your prior agreement may affect a statutory withdrawal right; any such effect is applied only to the extent allowed by applicable law.
