FAQ

Common questions

Is my music uploaded?

No. Audio Masterizer Studio processes audio locally on your Mac. Your files never leave your machine.

Does it work offline?

Yes. After the initial license activation, the app works fully offline. We do an occasional license check (about every two weeks).

Is it a subscription?

No. One payment, lifetime license. No recurring fees.

Can I use it on Windows?

Mac is shipping first. Windows is planned next. Contact us to join the early-access list.

Can I export WAV and MP3?

Yes. 16-bit WAV, 24-bit WAV and MP3 are supported. You can also export a mastering report.

Why don't I see reference tracks?

We don't expose raw references. The engine uses anonymized profiles built from tonal, dynamic and loudness targets. This protects the original artists and keeps the app legally clean.

What is demo mode?

If demo profiles are enabled, you can hear the engine output without a license, with watermarking and limited export. The full app requires a license.

How does license activation work?

After purchase you receive a license key. You enter it in the app once per machine. The license server signs a short token that lets the app work offline until the next periodic verification.

Can I install it on more than one Mac?

Yes. The default lifetime license allows up to 2 active devices. You can deactivate one device from inside the app to free a slot.

What happens if I'm offline for a long time?

The license token is valid for around 14 days. If the app can't reach the server for an extended period it will ask you to reconnect once. After that, you keep working offline.

Do you sign and notarize the app?

Yes, the Mac DMG is signed with an Apple Developer ID and notarized for Gatekeeper.

Do you offer refunds?

If the app doesn't work on your machine, contact support within 14 days for a refund.

What sample rates and bit depths are supported?

Up to 96 kHz / 32-bit float internal processing. Exports up to 24-bit WAV / 320 kbps MP3.

What's the minimum macOS version?

macOS 12 Monterey and later. Both Apple Silicon and Intel Macs are supported.
